Stabbing Victim Crashes Into Upstate N.Y. Fire Truck

A man crashed into an Rochester, N.Y. fire truck with his car after being stabbed while trying to intervene in a fight.

A man crashed into an Rochester, N.Y. fire truck with his car after being stabbed while trying to intervene in a fight.

According to Rochester television station YNN, the man dropped a woman off at a home on Magee Avenue at about 1 a.m. and the woman got into a fight.

When the 23-year-old man got out of the car and tried to intervene, he was stabbed several times in his upper body.

The television station reported the man then got back into his car and tried to drive away then crashed into the side of the fire truck which was parked around the corner. He was taken to Strong Hospital where he was listed in guarded but stable condition, according to the television station.

The incident remains under investigation.
