New York EMS Personnel Hurt in Ambulance Wreck

The ambulance and a pick-up truck collided head-on in Ulster, N.Y.

Two New York EMS personnel were seriously injured Saturday morning when their ambulance collided head-on with a pick-up truck.

William Spadafora, 43, a Mobile Life Support Services paramedic is in critical condition, according to the Times Herald Record.

He was flown to Albany Medical Center with multi-system trauma.

The wreck in Ulster also left EMT Gigi Williams, 22, with a head injury. She also was transported to Albany Medical Center.

The occupants of the pick-up truck suffered minor injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation.
