Two N.J. Firefighters Call 'Mayday,' Rescued

The firefighters, trapped in the basement, are expected to be OK.

Two firefighters called a Mayday after getting trapped in the basement of a New Jersey house Wednesday.

The two were rescued, and transported to a local hospital, according to NBC.com.

They are expected to be OK. 

The firefighters were walking down the steps to the basement, which was damaged extensively by the fire, when they fell, Woodbridge Assistant Fire Chief Mike Hapstak told reporters.
