Ohio Ambulance, Car Collide, Burn

Neither driver was seriously injured.

An Ohio ambulance and a car collided head-on and caught fire early Tuesday.

The Life Fleet ambulance driver escaped injury, while the civilian suffered minor injuries, reports indicated.

Ohio troopers told WKBN reporters that the ambulance was responding to an emergency in Beaver Township when it was hit by a driver who moved into the lane to pass another vehicle. 

An ambulance with emergency lights and sirens activated was struck head-on early Tuesday by a car that went into the on-coming lane to pass another driver in Beaver Township.

Lori Dalonzo, who was en route to picking up a patient, was not hurt. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries, police said.  

The crash invesigation is continuing.
