Medals, photos and keepsakes were stolen from the home Timothy Jackson's son this week.

Medals, photos and other cherished items were stolen from the home of fallen Worcester Firefighter Timothy Jackson this week.

“It’s personal I don’t really know how to describe it,” Timothy Jackson Jr. told WBZ-TV of the Wednesday break-in.

Jackson was among six firefighters who died at the Worcester Cold Storage Warehouse fire on Dec. 3, 1999.

When they broke into his home, they stole a safe that contained Jackson's fire department badges, letters of support, photos and much more. The items not only came from his time on the fire department, but also as a soldier in Vietnam, WBZ reported.

“I don’t think they know exactly what they have,” he said. “It means a lot to me.”
