Ohio Firefighter Dies at Home After Response on Shift

Sycamore Township Lt. James Michael Hill, 52, died at his home within 24 hours of an emergency response.

Funeral arrangements are pending for an Ohio firefighter who died in his sleep at home after a shift.

Lt. James Michael Hill, 52, had responded to a call with the Sycamore Township Fire Department within 24 hours of his death, according to the USFA.

The cause of death of Hill is pending an autopsy.

Hill was a 25-year veteran of the fire service.
