The 84-year-old patient was being transported for flu-like symptoms.

A patient being transported with flu-like symptoms was killed Tuesday when the ambulance crashed and overturned near Arlington, Ga.

"The ambulance got in the northbound land to pass the farm equipment as it entered into the northbound lane to pass the tractor, the farmer decided to make a left turn," GSP Investigator John Vanlandingham told WALB reporters.

That's when the two collided, and the ambulance veered off the road and overturned. The paramedics and the farm worker were OK, the station reported.
