Baltimore Firefighters Evacuated from Building Blaze

One firefighter reportedly fell through the floor, but was rescued.

Baltimore firefighters battling a major fire in frigid temperatures have been ordered to evacuate the building.

One firefighter reportedly fell through a floor while battling the fire in Locust Point, but was rescued. Witnesses told reporters two firefighters and at least two civilians were being treated at the scene.

The fire on Cooksie Street started about 2:30 p.m., and quickly went to a second alarm. There were reports that water froze the second it came out of the hoses.
