Four Lindale firefighters were injured, including one seriously, following a collapse during a house fire early Friday.
The most seriously injured firefighter, Joe Yeakley, was trapped by debris. He was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas where he was listed in critical condition, according to KLTV.com.
Two firefighters from Dixie and another from Lindale were able to escape the collapse in the garage. One was treated for burns, the station reported.
The homeowner, who didn't have a phone, ran to a neighbor's house to call 911.
The cause of the fire in the 3,000 square foot home is under investigation,
