The victims are believed to be three adults and two children.

Jan. 28--The Iowa Medical Examiner's Office is still awaiting the identification of two of the five victims of a house fire near Arlington, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office said Monday evening.

"We would like to release the names of all victims at the same time and anticipate being able to do this hopefully within the week," the Sheriff's Office statement said.

The victims, believed to be three adults and two children, died early Friday morning in a fire at 5094 F Ave. about four miles southwest of Arlington.

Ron Humphrey, an investigator with the State Fire Marshal's Office, said Friday that the damage was so complete that the cause of the fire may never be discovered.

The Arlington community suffered another tragic loss a little more than three years ago when Gerald "John" Rodenberg, 73, and his two grandsons, Henry Rodenberg, 6, and Ian Rodenberg Jr., 5, died when fire swept through their home three miles south of Arlington.
