Both Stephanie Wells, 31, and her daughter Kylie Stevens, died of their injuries.

Mike Stevens, a Greenup County Emergency Medical Services paramedic, was supported by fellow first responders at the scene and at the hospital, fire officials said.

During an interview, firefighters said they often fear they'll find a loved one when they respond to a crash.

They added that Stevens can depend on his emergency services family for support during this tragic time.
