Minn. Woman Dies of Injuries Suffered in Ambulance Crash

Jan. 30--A Monticello woman who was driving an sport utility vehicle that collided head-on with an ambulance Jan. 18 in Wright County has died.

The crash happened at 1:26 a.m. on Wright County Road 35 East, near Eaken Avenue Northeast in Buffalo Township. The SUV was being driven by Marilyn Paumen, 51, of Monticello, according to the Wright County Sheriff's Office.

She died early Wednesday, according to the sheriff's office.

The driver of the ambulance and a paramedic inside were hospitalized. A patient in the ambulance was not believed to have been injured from the crash, according to the sheriff's office.

Timothy Daly, 43, of Albertville, was driving the ambulance. Paramedic Brian Nagel, 30, of Greenwood, also was in the ambulance.
