It was a close call for two New Orleans firefighters early Tuesday morning.

While advancing, a portion of the house collapsed, trapping them under debris. They were quickly rescued by colleagues, fire officials said.

They were transported to a hospital where they were released after treatment of minor injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation as the house was vacant.
