A firefighter was uninjured after falling when a section of roof collapsed at a Harris County apartment complex on Tuesday.
Video captured by KHOU shows the firefighter climbing up on what appears to be the remaining roof structure. Second later, it collapses and the firefighter drops out of sight.
A second firefighter can be seen just below the collapse area and appears unharmed.
A fire officials at the scene told KHOU that the firefighter was not hurt.
The two-alarm fire damaged the Village of Copperfield apartments shortly after noon. It left a dozen families homeless.
Firefighters rescued several pets from the fire.
