N.Y. Firefighter Struck at Incident Scene

The Rochester firefighter suffered a leg injury.

A Rochester firefighter was injured by a hit-and-run driver Monday night.

He was removing equipment from the back of an engine at a smoke alarm call when he was hit by a vehicle, according to WHAM.

The driver immediately drove off. The firefighter was transported to a hospital for a leg injury..
