Florida firefighters scaled a 350-foot microwave tower in Wakulla County on Tuesday to help remove a worker who was suffering from heat exhaustion.

The private contractor was about 250 feet up the tower when he fell ill, according to Lt. Mike Bellamy, a public information officer for the Tallahassee Fire Department.

Wakulla County Fire Rescue crews saw the need for additional resources to help rescue the man.
