Palisades Park firefighters battled a fire in a three-story commercial building Wednesday morning.
The fire was mostly between the ceiling and the roof, Chief Stephen Killion told reporters.
The three-alarm fire was reported at 6:08 a.m. and under control around 8:30 a.m., but the 100 firefighters were still dousing hot spots an hour later.
The cause is under investigation but it is not believed to be suspicious. The businesses listed on the facade include Hubschman & Roman attorneys at law, American Title Agency, Realty7 and Sister Skin Care.
