Multiple Alarm Response to N.Y. Fire, Explosion

A five-alarm fire broke out following an explosion in Port Washington, N.Y.

A reported house explosion lit the dusk sky orange in Port Washington Tuesday night as flames engulfed at least one structure.

The explosion happened around 8:30 p.m. on Prospect Avenue, according to WABC-TV.

The fire quickly reached five alarms, which filled the neighborhood with firefighters and various apparatus.

It is unknown how many structures have been damaged or if there are any injuries.
