Fate Brings Wisconsin Couple To Tie Knot at Fire Station

Aug. 18, 2014
Fallen Green Bay Lt. Arnie Wolff played a role in getting the couple to meet.

Fate brought a Wisconsin couple together.

If it weren't for fallen Green Bay Lt. Arnie Wolff, Brittany Frederick and Nicholas Fisher would likely had never met.

Wolffe lost his life battling a blaze in 2006. The day he died, Frederick's brother, Brandon, decided to become a firefighter.

"He died doing what he loved and he died protecting and serving the city of Green Bay," Brandon Frederick told the WFRV reporter.

The Frederick and Wolff families were close.

Fate continued to intervene. During his training to become a firefighter and a paramedic Brandon met his wife. But it seemed as though fate had even bigger plans for his little sister and new brother-in-law, Nicholas.

"In our wedding my sister and my wife's brother stood together and now today, they're getting married," he told the reporter.

The couple said they wanted the man ultimately responsible for leading them to each other.to be part of their special day.

That's why they exchanged their vows outside the Lt. Arnie Wolff Fire Station No. 5.
