Rig Plunges Partially off I-95 Bridge in N.J.

The driver was rescued from his cab in a creek below.

A tractor-trailer careened off the side of I- 95 in New Jersey Tuesday morning, sending part of the truck’s cab into a creek below.

The driver was rescued from Overpeck Creek, and airlifted to a hospital.

Three state troopers who assisted with the rescue were taken to the hospital for check-ups, according to NBCNewYork.

Traffic in the area was snarled as the probe and clean-up progressed.
