A wrecker was pulling a rig out of a ditch, and as the engine passed by, it also started sliding, Capt. Rodney Simons told Delaware State News reporters.

He said they were going about 15 mph when it started to slide.

Fortunately, he said, all the occupants were wearing seat belts and equipment was secured. Some soreness was reported by firefighters after the crash, the account read.

It took two wreckers more than two hours to get the rig out of the ditch.

It was towed back to the fire station where the damage is being examined.
