Pa. Firefighter Stricken at Nov. Fire, Dies

A Pennsylvania firefighter who fell ill while battling a garage fire in November has died.

Somerset Firefighter Edward Roddy, 48, died Feb. 22 in a Pittsburgh Hospital.

He collapsed while fighting a fire on Nov. 5.

Kerri O'Baker was charged with arson and other offenses following the fire that spread to the garage while she was burning trash.

She claimed a miscommunication led to the fire being left unattended. 

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
