The deadline to submit your ideas for Firehouse World 2016 is next week. The annual conference returns to San Diego, Jan. 31 to Feb. 4.
"I'm encourage you to submit on topics that are outside the box," said Firehouse Editor-in-Chief Timothy Sendelbach.
He's focused on topics that include health and survival, including fitness and nutrition; technology and communications; technical rescue operations and fire prevention and investigation.
The conference is also seeking submissions on leadership that not only focus on the fire ground, but also in the fire station and when interacting with city hall.
Other preferred topics include professional development, fire station design, training and emergency vehicle apparatus operations, maintenance and specifications.
