A Georgia firefighter who collapsed in cardiac arrest at a fire scene last month has died.
Swainsboro Lt. Ricky Thurman, 54, was revived at a structure fire on April 24.
He was rushed to Regents University Hospital in Augusta where he died on May 4.
He had been with the fire service for 27 years.
His death brings to 32 the number of firefighters killed on duty in 2015.
