Sept. 25, 2015
Instructors and firefighters are encouraged to submit abstracts to present in Nashville in October 2016.

The Firehouse Expo 2016 Call for Presentations is now open. This opportunity allows you to share what works at your local level with firefighters from around the country.

"Firehouse Expo 2016 will offer a new opportunity for firefighters and fire instructors to present, share and debate the most critical issues and hot topics of the modern fire service," Firehouse Editor-in-Chief and Conference Director Tim Sendelbach said.

The conference is scheduled for Oct. 18-22, 2016 in Nashville, Tenn.

"Nashville represents a new beginning for Firehouse Expo and a new opportunity for firefighters and fire instructors from around the nation to present their programs and ideas at a national level," Sendelbach said.

The primary focus of Firehouse Expo is on strategy and tactics and live fire operations through hands-on training.

"I encourage any instructor who wants to improve and advance the American Fire Service to submit their presentation/program for consideration," Sendelbach added. "Firehouse Expo 2016 will undoubtedly be a historic event for Firehouse, Tennessee and the American Fire Service."
