Ill. Firefighter/Medic Dies After Busy Shift

    An Ill. firefighter/medic died Monday after responding to a number of emergencies.

    Kenneth K. Harris, 56, with the Village of Oak Park Fire Dept., suffered an apparent heart attack after returning home.

    Harris' last call was less than an hour before the end of his shift.

    He was found deceased at his home Monday night.

    Funeral arrangements are pending.
