An explosion and fire in a Murphysboro barn has killed two people.
According to the newspaper The Southern, a barn next to a home on Finney Road was engulfed by flames after an explosion.
Two people were working in the barn at the time of the blast, according to the newspaper.
The incident is under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
