Baltimore police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of Baltimore County firefighter Jon Hickey.
Police arrested Daniel Greene Tuesday night, and charged him with first degree murder, according to the Baltimore Sun. Green was a firefighters in Prince George's County from 2002-2013.
A statement from police called the shooting domestic-related.
Hickey, 31, was found shot to death during a welfare check by police last week and the medical examiner called the shooting a homicide.
Hickey served with several fire companies around Baltimore County and was set to begin the Baltimore City fire academy this month.
