FL Crews Battle 40-Foot Flames During Auto Shop Fire

No one was hurt as dozens of Orange County firefighters responded to the two-alarm blaze that broke out early Thursday at a Pine Hills auto shop.

About 40 Orange County firefighters had their hands full early Thursday while responding to a two-alarm fire that was consuming an auto shop in Pine Hills, according to a tweet from Orange County Fire Rescue.

The fire was reported at around 2:15 a.m. at the Big Boy Toys Auto Shop on Colonial Drive and Pine Hills Road, said OCFR spokesperson Ashley Gipson.

Flames were reaching heights of 30 to 40 feet, according to a WOFL report.

No injuries were reported, Gipson said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Gipson said.
