A four-alarm fire tore through a New Hampshire farm as firefighters from 23 departments battled the massive blaze early Wednesday.
Flames from the fire shot 50 to 100 feet in the air, and issues getting water caused difficulties for crews, which responded to the call at around 3:30 a.m. in Concord, WMUR-TV reports. A firefighter was taken to the hospital with a medical emergency while tackling the blaze and is expected to recover.
Off-duty Concord firefighters were called in to help, and the fire was stopped from spreading to neighboring homes. The blaze destroyed several greenhouses on the grounds, which had one building dating back to 1789, according to WMUR.
