San Francisco Firefighters Save Three in 2-Alarm Blaze

A firefighter suffered minor burns while helping to extinguish the residential fire that broke out Monday in San Francisco's Excelsior District.

San Francisco crews rescued three people from a two-alarm residential fire that injured a firefighter Monday.

The blaze broke out at a house in the city's Excelsior, KPIX-TV reports. The fire eventually spread to a neighboring home.

A firefighter suffered minor burns while battling the blaze. The three people who were rescued had moderate to minor injuries.

Crews also rescued a dog from the fire, KPIX added.
