'Wrapped' GTA Bus Educates Residents on Fire Safety and Prevention in Greensboro, N.C.

The Greensboro Fire Department, in collaboration with the Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA), unveiled a "wrapped" GTA bus.

The Greensboro Fire Department, in collaboration with the Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA), unveiled a "wrapped" GTA bus as part of a new initiative aimed at educating residents on fire safety and prevention.

The unveiling took place at a press conference on Monday, May 2nd, at the new Fire Station No. 11, at 2602 South Elm-Eugene Street.

The bus is superimposed with a plastic coating that includes safety messages, numbers to call for smoke detector installations, and graphics explaining what residents can do to prevent fires.

The interior of the vehicle will include seasonal fire safety messages that appear in English and Spanish.

The wrapped bus will primarily serve the southeast area of Greensboro where the highest number of fires occur, but will also service other areas throughout the city.
