On Saturday, April 16, 2005, there was a multiple alarm house fire in Summit, New Jersey lasting much of the afternoon.

Fire apparatus from Millburn, Springfield, Kenilworth, Union, Cranford, Plainfield, Berkeley Heights, Elizabeth and Westfield responded to the fire which occurred at 80 Park Avenue, Summit.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
