The City of Jeannette Fire Dept. hosted a 16- hour structural burn class on April 9 - 10.
Fire Captain 112 C-2/PA State Fire Instructor Randy Dubich, was the lead instructor for the class, and he was assisted by Frank Lemon, PA State Senior Fire Instructor (a New Kensington firefighter).
The weekend event was targeted for crews from the City of Jeannette, Grapeville Volunteer Fire Department, Penn Boro Volunteer Fire Department, Grandview Volunteer Fire Department, High Park Volunteer Fire Department, and North Irwin Volunteer Fire Department.
The exercise gave rookie & veteran firefighters hands on experience in battling a burning building.
