A working fire brought out Rochester units on Friday morning to the Riccardo’s Italian Bakery.
Firefighters were dispatched at 3 a.m. to the business at 1780 Norton St. when a worker noticed smoke inside the business.
Engine 16 arrived to find fire showing from the one-story building. Crews began attacking the fire from the interior and exterior and brought it under control in 20 minutes.
The building suffered extensive damage.
