Quebec Crews Tackle Roof Fire

An early evening last week, a fire broke out on the roof of the pavilion adjacent to adult education in the school. Repentigny firefighters responded to a general alarm attended the city of L'Assomption and the town of St. Sulpice. Strong wind posed a problem during the operations.About 70 firefighters took over three hours to control the fire. The damage was extensive. APAL (Firefighters Association Auxiliary Lanaudière) came to support the firefighters and the people who had to be evacuated.
