Rochester firefighters battled a house fire on Friday night.
At about 10:30 p.m., they were called to 27 Sullivan St. for flames coming from the back of a two-and-a-half-story house.
Quint 6, Engines 16 and 17 with Battalion 1 and Rescue 11 were dispatched. Hoselines were stretched around the home and crews poured water through the windows.
Truck 10's crew was also assigned as rapid intervention.
Additional calls came in and the Deputy Chief and Protectives were assigned.
An additional unit was called, and Engine 13 was assigned.
