An adult female suffered life-threatening injuries when struck by a pickup truck while she was crossing the street at 2nd and Lincoln Streets in Hillsboro Monday.
The incident occurred at 12:40 pm. Dispatchers sent Hillsboro police and firefighters along with Metro West Ambulance to the scene. They found an adult female lying in the street.
Firefighter/Medics from Fire Station 1 and Fire Station 5 and Metro West paramedics began treatment while other firefighters set up a landing zone at Lincoln Street Elementary for Life Flight Air Ambulance.
The woman was taken to OHSU Trauma Center for emergency treatment.
Hillsboro Police are investigating the incident.
