On September 17, Huntertown FD was dispatched to a heavily evolved structure fire in the Sorrento addition at 10:12pm. On arrival crews found fire coming from the roof and garage area. The large house was vacant and had a for sale sign in the front yard. The fire was brought under control within 45mins from the time of dispatch.
Fortunately no injuries were reported. Investigators and Huntertown FD remained on the scene until 5:30am Monday morning. Fire crews from St. Joe Twp FD, Washington Twp FD, and Cedar Canyons assisted in fire operations.
