Detroit Firefighters Control Occupied Dwelling Fire

On Sunday July 10, companies from the 7th Battalion responded to the area of Euclid between Linwood and LaSalle for the report of an occupied dwelling fire.Central advised companies en route that EMS was ordered for possible civilians trapped in the dwelling.Upon arrival, E42 reported they were stretching on an occupied dwelling, and requested the second engine to dump their monitor. Upon arrival of C7 companies reported that everyone was out of the dwelling.

Central advised companies en route that EMS was ordered for possible civilians trapped in the dwelling.

Upon arrival, E42 reported they were stretching on an occupied dwelling, and requested the second engine to dump their monitor. Upon arrival of C7 companies reported that everyone was out of the dwelling.

The homeowner was the only one home at the time fire and made it out safely with minor injuries. C7 reported that EMS was attending to the civilian. Crews from E10/17/34/42 L7 S4 and C7 worked for under an hour to bring this fire under control.
