Interior attack was abandoned due to heavy fire and roof collapse. Defensive attack was set up with deck guns on two pumpers.

The B side exposure suffered minor damage, and the D side exposure suffered no damage. Firefighting efforts were hampered due to tempertures in the 90s and extremely high humidity.

Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion. Rehab was provided by Lillian Rehab 3717 and Perdido Beach Rescue 3597.
