Crews Tackle Garage Fire in St. Paul Park

A mid-afternoon fire on July 2 damaged a garage in St. Paul Park, MN. The fire was reported around 3 p.m. St. Paul Park fire chief found flames showing from a window on the D side of the two stall structure. Firefighters on two engines deployed two 1 3/4-inch hoselines to knock the flames and forced entry into the structure to overhaul and hit hotspots. Mutual aid was received with an engine and rescue from Newport.
