Trapped Construction Worker Rescued in Wilmington, Delaware

New Castle County and The City Of Wilmington firefighters along with New Castle County technical rescue team and paramedics responded to a rescue at IKO Roofing on Hay Road this morning at 10:10 am.

Wilmington, Delaware - Monday, August 14, 2006 -- New Castle County and The City Of Wilmington firefighters along with New Castle County technical rescue team and paramedics responded to a rescue at IKO Roofing on Hay Road this morning at 10:10 am.

A construction worker was pinned between concrete wall forms after falling 25 feet. It took rescue workers over an hour to stabilize and remove the construction worker.

The construction worker was flown to Christiana Hospital by the State Police helicopter Trooper 4.
