Pennsylvania Firefighters Respond to Car Fire in Lehigh County

Cetronia firefighters, South Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, assisted by Woodlawn's Tanker 3221, responded to a car fire on Rte. 22 eastbound 5:30 AM, Tuesday, April 6, 2004.

The car struck the rear of a tractor trailer, also going eastbound, causing the engine compartment to catch on fire.

The front of the car was destroyed as a result of the fire. The driver was slightly injured when the car's airbags inflated and was treated on the scene by Cetronia Ambulance Corps EMS personnel.
