Heavy smoke greeted the Gastonia Fire Dept Saturday morning

These are the heavy smoke conditions that greeted the Gastonia Fire Department Saturday morning when they arrived on scene of the second suspicious fire at the same residence. They had just returned to the station from the first fire when they were dispatched back to the same location. This time the arsonist did a better job spreading fire throughout the entire house. The Gastonia Fire Investigation Task Force has several good leads. The incident is still under investigation.
