This Gastonia Fire Department arrived on scene of this house at 1106 Spencer Avenue. to find heavy fire and smoke conditions from the attic area of the entire structure.
According to GFD protocol, one firefighter secured the utilities as other firefighters attack the fire. The Gastonia Fire Investigation Task Force determined the fire cause to be improper storage of flammable liquids (gasoline) near an ignition source (gas water heater).
