A four-alarm fire gutted and leveled a vacant apartment complex in southwest Houston.
Fortunately, no one was injured except for a firefighter who was treated for heat exhaustion. High winds and high tempratures made the blaze difficult to control.
The fire was finally subdued around 7pm, six hours after it intially started.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause.
Transients were known to hang out at the complex, which was scheduled to be demolished soon.
Over 120 firefighters were called to this incident.
