Emergency Crews Repond to Possible Stolen Automobile Accident

On March 28, 2004, at 9:00 PM, Engine 141, Rescue 40, and Ambulance 140 were dispatched to South Middleton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania for a reported auto accident with injuries.

On March 28, 2004, at 9:00 PM, Engine 141, Rescue 40, and Ambulance 140 were dispatched to South Middleton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania for a reported auto accident with injuries. Headquarters advised that units were responding to a single vehicle into a utility pole and a patient with a head injury.

Rescue 40 arrived on scene with Captain 40 as officer. Captain 40 advised E141 and Command 2 that there was no patient inside the vehicle and no patient in the surrounding areas. Upon arrival of E141 and Command 2, Pennsylvania State Police troopers advised that the patient fled the scene in a pickup truck and that the car was possibly stolen. State Police were searching for the victim.

Command 2 held E141 and placed EMS and R40 in service. Box was available at approximately 9:20 PM.
