Campbell Hall, New York Firefighters Battle House Fire

HAMPTONBURGH, NY - At around 3:30 pm, on Saturday, May 13th, the Campbell Hall Fire Department was alerted for a well involved structure fire on Everett Road near Hill Road.

Incident Command Chief Robert Cullen arrived on scene and requested immediate Mutual Aid from Goshen with 2 tankers to the scene, and Maybrook for 1 Engine to standby at Campbell Hall.

Several handlines were stretched and placed in operation but it was quite apparent that the fire had severely weakened the roof and Chief Cullen ordered an exterior attack.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Orange County Fire Investigation Unit.

The house was a total loss.
