SHELTON, CT - A fire ripped through the Dunkin' Donuts located at 713 Bridgeport Ave. at approximately 11:20 PM on Friday, March 5, 2004.
Members from Shelton Companies 3 and 1 were dispatched to smoke coming from the roof of the structure.
Upon arrival, the first in companies reported a heavy smoke condition pushing from the structure. Fire conditions deteriorated rapidly, and all members were evacuated from the building for an exterior attack.
No injuries were sustained from this fire that was reported to be caused by a faulty light ballast.
